Peavoy has worked for Ireland’s public service, multimedia organisation – RTE, as well as a wide variety of news and media organisations, including The Irish Times, the Irish Independent, The Irish Sun, the Irish Daily Star, The Herald, Eir Sport, Balls.ie, TravelExtra.ie, TravelMedia.ie, EPath Digital, The Dublin Gazette, Travelmag.co.uk, Ireland’s Big Issue and L’Équipe.
He has also worked as a PR specialist for brands such as Canada’s leading tour operator to the UK and Ireland – RIT Vacations, international-development charity Self Help Africa and Paris-based fashion brand MACKEENE.
He has worked across lifestyle, sport, news, business and culture, specialising in rugby, the Olympics, travel, film, property and sponsored content.
His experience as a travel writer and broadcaster has seen him report from four continents, working across online, print and broadcast.
He was the recipient of the 2018 Best City Feature at the French Travel Media Awards, and was also a nominee at the FTMAs in both 2016 and 2019 in the Best Destination Feature and Best Gastronomy Feature categories respectively.
He has worked in many roles across media and journalism including writer, reporter, photographer, digital editor, sub-editor, broadcaster, voice artist, producer, director, cameraman and video editor.
He lectures in Journalism and Communications at Ireland’s largest media training centre based in TU Dublin.
